LIPONOL® XTEND utilizes a polymer-coated vesicle system to significantly enhance the skin permeation of retinol compared to conventional formulations.
Following topical application, the total amount of retinol delivered into the skin using LIPONOL® XTEND was approximately 2.2-fold higher (0.23 ± 2.86 µg) than that achieved with conventional liposomal retinol (0.09 ± 1.29 µg), demonstrating its superior delivery efficiency and deeper skin penetration.
